We are seeking a skilled Fixed Asset Accountant to join our financial accounts team. As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining all aspects of the fixed asset process.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare internal and external finance reporting for the Business, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK Accounting Standards.

* Provide analytical reports for internal management and external reports to auditors, offering valuable insights into our fixed assets.

* Support the preparation of the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) on a period-by-period basis, facilitating the year-end process and reconciliation.

* Build relationships with the wider Business on items of a capital nature, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

* Process and monitor additions and disposals accurately, mitigating risk and ensuring compliance with internal control procedures.

* Proactively deal with ad hoc requests, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

* CIMA or ACCA qualified, with a strong understanding of UK Accounting Standards.

* Experience in the transacting and controlling of all aspects of fixed assets, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

* Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, with the ability to analyze and present complex data.

* Knowledge of finance system management and internal control, with a focus on risk mitigation and compliance.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
