Fixed Asset Accountant Role for Process Improvement

We are seeking a Fixed Asset Accountant to play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining all aspects of the fixed asset process.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about process improvement and development.

The ideal candidate will be at the forefront of the preparation of internal and external finance reporting for the Business.

You will support in providing insight over our fixed assets through the preparation of analytical reports for internal management as well as external reports to auditors.

This role requires CIMA or ACCA qualified individual with experience in the transacting and controlling of all aspects of fixed assets.

Understanding of UK Accounting Standards and proficiency in advanced Excel functions are also essential.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and presentation abilities, a proactive and positive approach to tasks, and the ability to build relationships with the wider Business on items of a capital nature.

Main responsibilities include consolidating a Fixed Asset Register (FAR) on a period-by-period basis, providing support to the budgeting and forecast function, processing and monitoring additions and disposals accurately, and mitigating risk particularly around documentation for audit sampling.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £40,000-£60,000 per annum based on industry standards and location.
