We're working with a highly regarded SEN College in Sheffield who are offering a Temp to Perm opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA). This role involves supporting students with SEN, helping them navigate lessons and working environments, resolving student issues, providing essential support, and assisting with personal care as required.

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll be working closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to ensure students receive the support they need to thrive. You'll be responsible for:

  • Providing individualized support to students with SEN
  • Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks
  • Helping students to navigate the college environment
  • Supporting students with their educational and personal goals
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for passionate individuals with care or nursery experience who are willing to provide personal care when needed. You'll need to have your own transport and be willing to travel between sites. You'll also need:

  • GCSE Maths and English
  • Enhanced DBS including child barred list (we can help you to obtain this)

What's On Offer:

This is a rewarding role that offers:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.08
  • Travel expenses reimbursed at 45p per mile when travelling to any other site than Sheffield
  • A Temp to Perm contract with the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others
