An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Financial Manager to join Venture Recruitment Partners, a leading recruitment agency in the care sector.
The Role:
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly and annual financial reports using Sage 50, Power BI, and Excel, investigating and reporting on discrepancies and variances.
- Team Support: Support Account Managers and Assistants with day-to-day queries, providing guidance and expertise.
- Liaison and Reporting: Regularly liaise with the Operations Director, HR Directors, CFO, and CEO, producing ad-hoc reports as required.
- Credit Control: Oversee credit control functions across the group, managing private and local authority funding customers.
- Senior Management Participation: Attend monthly Senior Management Team meetings, presenting financial results and providing strategic insights.
- Auditing and Controls: Conduct home audits and test internal controls, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with the Operations Director and Regional Managers, communicating financial insights across the business.
- Invoice Approval: Approve purchase invoices on Paperless, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Budgeting Support: Assist the CFO with annual budget preparations, providing financial expertise and guidance.
- Extensive experience in financial management, ideally within a similar sector.
- Strong knowledge of Sage 50, Power BI, and Excel.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of conveying financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
