About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Finance Business Partner to join our team at Bakkavor. As a key member of our Business Finance Team, you will work closely with our Senior Finance Business Partners to provide insightful financial data to our Factory Management and Operations teams, driving site profitability and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Finance Business Partners in translating complex financial data into clear and actionable business insights.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders to remain up-to-date with the latest operation activity and priorities.
  • Work closely with wider business teams to accurately gather data for profit improvement initiatives and track their progress against defined financial targets.
  • Review and analyze P&L and Tracker information to highlight trends and forecast business performance.
  • Deliver feedback to the Business FP&A Team members on any forecast data templates and supporting analysis in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide Cost Centre Managers with information and analysis to aid preparation of overhead forecast plans.
  • Support standard cost reset activities and perform deep dives into data to support complex pricing decisions.
  • Contribute to the end-to-end costings process, ensuring timetable and controls are adhered to from a Finance perspective.
  • Ensure adherence to agreed financial processes and controls within the costing system.
  • Support on product costing meetings and ensure all launch and implementation costs are captured.
  • Assist with preparation of capital invoice additions forecast and capital cash forecast.
  • Identify project slippage and support generation of corrective action plans.

About You:

  • You will have a strong understanding of accounting concepts and/or be currently undergoing professional accounting qualification training (AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • You will have knowledge of Operational Finance and strong written and verbal communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • You will be proficient in MS Office and have effective time management, diligence, and the ability to engage/build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Previous experience of working with Business Intelligence Tools would be highly desirable.
