About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our Debt Recovery team at Francis Wilks & Jones as a Debt Recovery Support Assistant.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a junior to play an important role in the smooth running of the team and its future growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the team in delivering excellent services to our clients
  • Assist with the preparation of Letters of Claim and standardized documents
  • Liaise with the Courts to obtain information and copy documentation
  • Scanning and electronically filing all incoming and outgoing post
  • Assist with the system production of High Court Writ of Control Applications
  • Support with billing procedures and cash received procedures
  • Prepare Hearing Bundles
  • Order stationery for the Debt Recovery Team as needed
  • Ensure accurate time keeping, record keeping, and file maintenance
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all Firm and client documentation and/or information
  • Deal promptly with client enquiries and correspondence
  • Ensure all client and matter records are made and maintained in line with the Firm's procedures
  • Assist with all Administrative tasks for the team
Requirements
  • Keen and enthusiastic to learn
  • Experience of providing administrative support to fee-earning lawyers
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft applications
  • Well-organized and able to work in a team
  • Good communication skills
