We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at Whittington Moor Surgery. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver effective nursing care to patients, including near-patient testing, venepuncture, and wound care.
- Provide health promotion and education to patients, including smoking cessation advice and lifestyle guidance.
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in staff development reviews and maintain continuing professional education.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, using appropriate read codes and maintaining accurate computer records.
- Essential qualifications: Adult Nursing Qualification, NMC registration, 3 years clinical experience, car driver, and some Primary Care Nursing experience.
- Desirable qualifications: Chronic disease management, ear care, awareness of local and national health policy, independent prescribing qualification, and knowledge of clinical governance in Primary Care.
