Job Title: Clerk to School Governors

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clerk to provide high-quality support to our Governing Bodies and Committees across our schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clerking: Prepare agendas for meetings, collate and circulate documents, attend meetings, and take detailed minutes.
  • Advisory: Build strong relationships with Heads and Chairs of schools, provide strategic advice and support on governance issues.
  • Other: Maintain Governing Board registers, ensure database information is up-to-date, and clerk extraordinary meetings or panel hearings.
Requirements:
  • Experience in school governance or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
