About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Apprentice to join our team at Arena Racing Company. As a Finance Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our finance function while developing the skills needed to achieve AAT level 2 qualification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the processing of purchase and sales invoices, including set-up of new suppliers and customers.
  • Support with payroll administration, including set-up of new starters and processing timesheets.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and analysis, including month-end reconciliations.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry and filing.
  • Develop and maintain a systematic and methodical approach to problems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • GCSE's A* - C grade or equivalent.
  • A systematic and methodical approach to problems.
