Job Description

This is a remote position that requires an experienced Senior Water Treatment Technician to support the clients' various contracts in the West Midlands.

The successful candidate will be required to maintain the efficiency, effectiveness, and longevity of commercial water systems, ensure safety water systems, and implement successful water hygiene and treatment strategies.

Senior Water Treatment Technician - Offer:

· Hours per week are 08:00 to 17:00 negotiable, 40 hour week;

· Salary ranging between $30k to £35k Depending on Experience

· 25 days holiday (not including bank holidays);

· Pension scheme after 3 full months service (3% employer contribution, 5% employee);

· Overtime available but not guaranteed;

· Tablet and phone;

· Company uniform;

· Company works vehicle; and

· employee referral scheme of £1,000.

Senior Water Treatment Technician – Duties:

  • temperature checks;
  • water sampling;
  • TMV inspection and servicing;
  • Shower cleans and disinfection;
  • Tank inspections and cleans;
  • Chlorination works;
  • Service and replacement of water softeners and filters;
  • Ensure water hygiene and water treatment maintenance, servicing and repair works are carried out in accordance to our clients standards and legislation;
    attend emergency call-outs during and outside or normal workings hours;
  • wearing relevant company issued PPE and clothing; and
  • submit clear and concise service reports and timesheets.

Senior Water Treatment Technician – Requirements:

  • knowledge of water treatment and water hygiene;
  • knowledge of Legionella;
  • knowledge of commercial plumbing;
  • knowledge of building services;
  • Valid driving licence;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; and
  • Self- motivated with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills;
