Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Commercialize Business Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement targeted business approaches and pricing strategies that drive sales and profitability growth.
  2. Lead Business Expansion: Ensure the successful launch of new business offerings and optimize existing ones to meet market demands.
  3. Contribute to Business Strategy: Actively participate in the development of the Business Unit's strategy and manage commercial strategic plans to deliver planned business growth goals.
  4. Pricing and Portfolio Management: Determine pricing strategies and manage business guidelines to balance customer and product portfolios, maximizing growth and profit.
  5. Market Intelligence and Opportunity Identification: Maintain a deep understanding of the commercial landscape, identifying market growth opportunities and providing strategic input to drive business growth.
  6. Progress Reporting and Portfolio Optimization: Control and report progress against the rolling 2-year commercial plan, owning go/no-go decisions for sales and proposals teams.
Requirements
  1. Education: MSc in a life sciences subject or Ph.D. and MBA preferred.
  2. Knowledge and Experience: Strong understanding of mammalian development, IND requirements, CMC activities, commercial launch, and long-term supply. Proven experience in generating business strategies and a strong technical and commercial international background.
