Are you passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to individuals in need? We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Practitioner to join our Cornerstone Community Care team in Irvine.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Support Practitioner to work with a lovely lady, providing support in all aspects of daily living, including cooking, personal care, administering medication, and managing personal finances. You will work in a person-centred way to promote independence and maintain a high quality of life for our service user.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to our service user, engaging in activities that promote her independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
  • Administer medication and manage personal finances, ensuring accurate and timely support.
  • Develop and maintain a person-centred support plan, working collaboratively with our service user and other professionals.
  • Communicate effectively with our service user, their family, and other professionals, ensuring seamless support and care.

About You

We are looking for a Support Practitioner who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support. You will have:

Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.A caring attitude and approach, with a commitment to promoting independence and dignity.Positive approach to learning and development, with a willingness to take on new challenges.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional care and support.

What We Offer

Requirements

You will need to have a full UK driving licence and be able to work a rolling rota, including 24-hour shift patterns. You will also need to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting employment with us.
