About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Property Law Specialist to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our Property Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our legal team and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete legal forms and documents with precision and accuracy.
  • Draft and review various legal notices and letters.
  • Liaise with clients and lenders to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues.
  • Manage Land Registry documents and respond to requisitions in a timely manner.
  • Prepare completion statements and activate building warranty policies.
  • Draft Contracts and Transfer Deeds, and order property searches.
  • Update lender's portals and send title documents to lenders and clients.
  • Calculate apportionments and complete Fee Notes for fee earners.
  • Manage CQS administration, including courses and training.
  • Process financial transactions, such as raising cheques and e-chits.
  • Maintain up-to-date legal materials and conduct research as required.
  • Provide administrative support, including scanning, photocopying, binding, and drafting meeting minutes.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Property Law Specialist or in a similar role within a legal setting.
  • Familiarity with legal documentation and conveyancing processes.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in standard office software and legal databases.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently when required.
