Job Title: Managing Quantity Surveyor

Randstad Construction & Property is seeking an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a long-term contract basis.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management of large-scale civils packages on the HS2 project in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of project finances, including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage subcontractor accounts
  • Provide strategic commercial advice to the project team
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and the project team to ensure smooth project delivery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor in the civils or infrastructure sector
  • Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts
  • Experience working on large, complex projects (HS2 experience is advantageous)
  • Excellent commercial and contractual acumen
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines effectively
