Senior Commercial Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join our finance team at The Very Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business performance and improving profitability across our Retail division.
About the Role
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity that will see you working closely with our Retail division's senior management team to deliver in-year performance and future strategic ambitions. You will be accountable for providing financial insight and judgement to support decision-making and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Lead trading conversations with Senior Commercial Managers and Directors to optimize commercial outcomes.
- Support and challenge non-finance stakeholders to improve performance and meet strategic goals.
- Review trading activity to understand commercial outcomes and customer impacts.
- Prepare budget and forecasting information to ensure timely and accurate financial plans.
- Manage and control risks and opportunities to ensure business continuity.
- Develop relationships across the finance team to drive effective outcomes.
