Senior Academic Leader

Loughborough College is seeking a highly experienced individual to join its Corporation Board as an independent College Governor. The role involves agreeing and overseeing the strategic direction of the College, driving forward its mission to transform and enrich lives through lifelong learning.

The ideal candidate will have current experience in a senior role with a leading regional, national or multinational employer, or in a similar role with a major employer representative body. They must be committed to the College's vision and have the ability to work in a team to make collective decisions.

The Board is keen to promote diversity of its membership across all protected characteristics. As a Governor, you will contribute to the College's success, develop transferable skills, and put existing skills and experience to good use. A programme of training and development for governors is provided.

Loughborough College offers a diverse range of courses from Foundation to Degree level, with 9,000 students receiving an exceptional learning experience in a high-quality and expanding campus. The College has set ambitious targets, and the pace of change is rapid. This role offers the opportunity to be part of shaping the College's future.

The Corporation Board is responsible for agreeing and overseeing the strategic direction of the College.
