Health and Safety Manager - Kilmarnock
The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Kilmarnock. As a key member of our HSEQ team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and stakeholders.
Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective health and safety strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. You will work closely with our operational teams to identify and mitigate risks, and provide guidance and support to ensure a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures
- Monitor and report on health and safety performance
- Collaborate with operational teams to identify and address health and safety risks
Requirements
- Membership of IOSH at Tech IOSH level (or similar)
- Experience in a full-time health and safety role
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Internal auditing experience

- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
