We are seeking an experienced and skilled Estate Agency Branch Leader to join our team at Canary Wharf, where you will have the opportunity to lead a high-performing team and deliver exceptional service to our clients.

About the Role

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading daily meetings with the Estate Agency team, coaching them to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), and monitoring and assessing individual team member performance.
  • You will also be expected to encourage your team's development and progression, focus on generating new and repeat business, develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and buyers, and ensure the business is risk-averse and compliant with all regulatory bodies.

Salary and Benefits

  • The salary for this role is £70,000 per year, with complete on-target earnings.
  • In addition to the base salary, you will also receive a basic salary of £28,000 to £32,500, dependent on experience, as well as supplementary payments of up to five months to support you while you build your pipeline.
  • The role also comes with an uncapped commission scheme, a BMW 1 Series Company Car or a monthly Car Allowance, and enrolment onto a fully-funded training course that will earn a Level 2 Estate Agent Qualification.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • To be considered for this role, you will need to have a full UK driving licence, legal entitlement to live and work in the UK, and evidence of your right to work in the country, such as a passport or birth certificate.
  • Proof of address, National Insurance number, and a drivers' licence check will also be required.

A Day in the Life of an Estate Agency Branch Leader

  • Leading daily meetings with the Estate Agency team
  • Coaching the team to achieve KPIs
  • Monitoring and assessing individual team member performance
  • Encouraging team development and progression
  • Focusing on generating new and repeat business
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and buyers
  • Liaising with prospective buyers and arranging property viewings
  • Negotiating offers and agreeing sales

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within Estate Agency at a Senior Negotiator position, a Property Valuer position, or higher
  • Ability to work well with others to create a team spirit and an enjoyable working environment
  • Effective communication skills to create trusting relationships with customers, suppliers, communities, and colleagues
  • Business planning and management skills
  • Ability to monitor and assess performance of local competitors
  • Strong understanding of current legislation related to Estate Agency
  • Time management and attention to detail skills
  • Good telephone manner and IT skills
