About The Role

This role is a key strategic leadership position within Motability Operations Limited, responsible for the overall commercial management of service, maintenance, and repair (SMR) contracts across the dealer network.

  • This position requires a strong commercial focus, ensuring that the services provided are value for money to the scheme, with a drive for high results and a delivery focus.
  • The role involves defining and designing contracts to achieve the balance between best value for customers and best commercial terms for the business.
  • You will be responsible for creating an environment with the dealer/SMR networks to ensure customers receive excellent customer experience and best value.
  • The role is responsible for implementing strategic and tactical opportunities to reduce costs across the dealer network contracts.
  • You will need to manage SLAs with dealers to ensure delivery against the customer proposition and proactively performance manage poor partner performance where necessary.
  • This is a commercial role that requires a data-driven approach to manage partner costs and ensure a value-added approach without impacting the customer experience.

About You

  • Alongside a customer focus, you will also need strong commercial awareness and an interest in the wider fleet and leasing industry, with a desire to learn about any outside influences that could impact us or our customers within the in-life experience.
  • You will need to effectively lead, develop, and motivate your team to drive a commercial strategic agenda that actively engages partners to deliver the best outcomes.
  • Commercial acumen, a drive for high results, and a delivery focus are essential for this role.
  • You will need to operate seamlessly between commercial requirements, customer experience deliverables, and strategic priorities.
