About the Role

Lidl in Deutschland is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deputy Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Lead and inspire a team of colleagues, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Monitor and manage store performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers, ensuring a positive and productive store environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to Lidl's standards.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in a retail or similar environment, with a track record of success in managing teams and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of store appearance and maintenance.
