About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Insurance Underwriter to join our team at NFU Mutual. As an Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our engineering insurance strategy, ensuring that our policies meet the needs of our customers and align with our business objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining underwriting guidelines and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in our underwriting decisions.
  • Reviewing and analyzing data to identify trends and patterns that may impact our underwriting decisions.
  • Collaborating with our Propositions department and other stakeholders to develop and implement our underwriting strategy.
  • Providing expert judgment and guidance to our underwriters to ensure that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to make informed underwriting decisions.

We are looking for a professional with a strong background in underwriting or a related field, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You should have a deep understanding of the engineering insurance market and be able to communicate complex ideas effectively.
