About the Role
Briggs and Forrester Group is a leading building services engineering company with a strong commitment to employee ownership and a reputation for delivering high-quality results. We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Professional to join our dedicated HSE team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical support to site management teams
- Undertake targeted checks to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with industry standards
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Deliver in-house training to operatives and management teams
- Support client HSE representatives and build strong relationships with site management and subcontractor teams
Requirements
- UK-based construction experience with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate and/or other relevant qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering results
- Current and valid CSCS/ECS/JIB card, and other relevant certifications
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to travel
