We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join our team at Nurse Seekers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the quality of childcare provided in the nursery.
- Undertake time in the nursery rooms as a role model, promoting a safe, nurturing, and inspiring education environment for children.
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
- Assist the manager in the supervision of training of students and volunteers in placement within the nursery.
- Monitor and take responsibility for the Health and Safety standards within the nursery, ensuring that the nursery's Health and Safety policies and procedures are developed, implemented, and reviewed.
- Monitor and take responsibility for Equality and Diversity within teaching and learning, ensuring that statutory requirements are fulfilled and the nursery's Equality and Diversity policies and procedures are implemented.
- Participate in appraisal and professional development as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Qualification or above in Early Years.
- Significant experience of leading in a nursery.
- Minimum of a Level 2 Qualification in Maths and English.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully managing change and improvement in a nursery setting.
- Significant nursery experience of managing a team of staff in a nursery setting.
- Detailed knowledge of safeguarding children, procedures, and promotion of children.
