We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at GMP Recruitment Ltd.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the company and its products, as well as excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret customer drawings/specifications to provide accurate proposals/quotations
  • Providing technical assistance to clients
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with new and existing customers/distributors
  • Generate and follow up on leads/quotes
  • Assist with producing reportage as required
  • Contribute to delivering against agreed sales targets
  • Attend exhibitions as required to promote products/services
  • Attend customer/site visits and technical meetings as required
  • Work closely with Production and Engineering departments to meet customer requirements and deadlines
  • Build knowledge and application of industry standards
  • Help the company maintain ISO-9001 accreditation
  • Maintain customer/project database as needed
  • Support managers/directors to implement the company's policies, goals and ethics

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the HVAC/Fire industry and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work on their own initiative. A degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience is essential.
