Job Description

Logic Engagements is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Global Engineering, Digital & Automation team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering process control system projects for our global consumer goods client.

This is a long-term contract assignment (12 months initial with potential for future extensions) that offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading global FMCG company.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working as a Project Engineer/Project Manager on Engineering projects around process control systems, with a strong background in Controls & Instrumentation Engineering and experience with IT/Operational Technology integration.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Development of requirement specifications in collaboration with other internal teams.
  • Use of specialist knowledge to deliver capex projects to correct technical specification.
  • Development of cost estimates and project schedules.
  • Managing efficient spend for capex projects.
  • Co-ordinating and managing external resources.
  • Management of the project lifecycle including capital approval, maintaining accurate financial data including spend and forecast and project closure.
  • Manage and overseeing commissioning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental standards.
  • Exceptional Stakeholder management skills with ability to communicate effectively and proactively with cross-functional teams and internal customers regarding plans, products, issues, timelines and solution value.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience working as a Project Engineer/Project Manager on Engineering projects around process control systems.
  • Strong background working as a Controls & Instrumentation Engineer.
  • Experience with IT/Operational Technology integration.
  • Proficiency reviewing solution designs using logical and physical diagrams.
  • Appreciation of Cyber Security.
