Electrical Power Systems Specialist

We are seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer to work on a Monday to Friday basis at a Biomass Power Station in Suffolk.
This role involves supporting the Engineering Team with all Operational Electrical Engineering tasks, ensuring seamless plant operations and efficient maintenance schedules. The ideal candidate will have relevant electrical experience and hold an HNC, Level 3, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. They should also have completed an Apprenticeship within Engineering and possess proven experience within Heavy Industrial Engineering, preferably in a Waste, Recycling, Power, or Process plant Facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside a shift team of skilled workers to achieve optimal production levels.
- Monitor performance and standards on shift, identifying areas for improvement.
- Carry out preventative, responsive, and pre-planned maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Complete work on Control Systems and PLCs, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
