Industrial Electrical Engineer Opportunity

A leading Biomass Power Station in Suffolk is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Engineer to join their Engineering Team on a permanent basis. As an Industrial Electrical Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the power station, working closely with a shift team of skilled workers to achieve optimal production levels.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, including relevant qualifications such as an HNC, Level 3, or equivalent, as well as significant experience within Heavy Industrial Engineering. Ideally, they will have completed an Apprenticeship within Engineering and possess a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description:
- Support the Engineering Team with all Operational Electrical Engineering tasks.
- Monitor performance and standards on shift, identifying areas for improvement.
- Carry out preventative, responsive, and pre-planned maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Complete work on Control Systems and PLCs, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
