About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Audit team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit services to our clients, ensuring their financial statements are accurate and reliable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead audit teams to deliver high-quality audit services to clients
  • Develop and implement audit strategies to ensure effective risk management and control
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored audit solutions
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards
  • Recruit, train, and develop audit staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality audit services
Requirements
  • ACA or ICAS qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience in audit management, preferably in a Big Four firm
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of UK and international accounting standards, including IFRS and UK GAAP
