Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Art Studio Instructor to join our team in the Ashington area. As a valued member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the art of art teaching.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is £130,000 - £153,000 per year, based on a daily rate of £617 - £680, and an estimated 200 working days per year. This includes a 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Job Description:

Teaching Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students, promoting creativity and artistic expression.
  • Develop and implement curriculum-aligned art programs, ensuring students meet their full potential.
  • Provide individualized attention and support to students, addressing their unique learning needs.

Student Support:

  • Monitor student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and developing strategies to address any challenges.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and any concerns.

Professional Development:

  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date with best practices in art education.
  • Contribute to school-wide initiatives, such as curriculum development and staff training.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching art or a related subject.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
