The successful candidate will work alongside the Lead Nurse to implement and deliver a highly specialized Scottish Inherited Metabolic Disorders Service for adults across NHS Health Boards in Scotland. This service is an Integrated Specialist multi-disciplinary team managed by NHSGGC and based in both Glasgow and Edinburgh.
The post holder will provide expert advice and care for adults and young people from transition to old age, focusing on establishing patients with Lysosomal Storage Disorder on Enzyme therapy and transitioning them to homecare. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with long-term conditions and possess clinical knowledge and skills in caring for adults.
