About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Team Member to join our team at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. As a key member of our Catering Team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality food preparation and service to our patients, staff, and visitors.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work a rolling rota, including weekends, with shifts typically lasting 7.5 hours. No split shifts are required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and snacks for patients and staff
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
