Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Greenwich Primary School.
About the RoleThis is a 30-hour per week, term-time only position, working 39 weeks per year. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with learning disabilities, providing individualized support and creating a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils with learning disabilities in a primary school setting
- Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
- Provide individualized support to pupils, including academic and personal support
- Contribute to a child-centered, play-based curriculum
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with children with learning disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good academic qualifications and a passion for education
