Penguin Recruitment is seeking a recent graduate to join our client's team as a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to kickstart their career in the environmental consultancy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Phase 1 desktop studies, factual and interpretive reports, soil and rock logging, groundwater and gas monitoring, and prepare phase plans.
  • Work on a variety of projects around the West Midlands and North West, collaborating with a specialist team to deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop geo-environmental/geotechnical skills through industry-leading training and continued professional development.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a BSc in geology, environmental science, hydrogeology, engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
  • Keen to learn and develop geo-environmental/geotechnical skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a hands-on role.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Live commutable to Shrewsbury.
  • Right to work in the UK.
