The estimated salary for this Support Worker position is £11.50 - £11.60 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a full-time contract with opportunities for career progression into senior and management roles.
Job Description:
- Deliver high-quality care to residents, following agreed Care Plans and contributing to the efficient running of the care home.
- Support residents in maintaining a good quality of life, promoting independence, and achieving their potential.
- Collaborate effectively with the team, undertaking tasks delegated efficiently and effectively.
- Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults under your care or supervision.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience as a Support Worker in a care environment is preferred.
- Care certificate or equivalent, or willingness to achieve this within the first 12 months of employment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of good care practices, particularly in relation to the care of older people.
- Show understanding of the 6 principles of care and their application in residential and nursing settings.
- Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Exhibit self-motivation and confidence in your work.
