Client Director Role Overview

Aon is seeking a seasoned Client Director to lead our Humber Advisory office in providing risk solutions to businesses across various sectors in the UK. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large commercial clients and driving growth through tailored approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the service provided to clients and subcontracted elements of service to ensure the highest level of service.
  • Identify and introduce Aon's products and services to meet client needs and understand and communicate each client's business issues and needs to the service team and other parts of Aon.
  • Build client relationships with key decision-makers and grow a client portfolio, including meeting annual revenue targets.
  • Work in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and compliance with Aon UK Limited policies.

Requirements:

  • ACII or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in the insurance industry, with experience in client relationship management and core lines of commercial risks.
  • Experience leading a large portfolio of commercial clients is desirable.
  • Commercial understanding of business, including market forces, business drivers, market dynamics, competitors, and risks.
  • Prior experience with sales, fee setting, negotiation, and influencing.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Client-focused with a consultative approach and commitment to excellence in client service.
