We are seeking a talented researcher to join our EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Future Infrastructure and Built Environment: Unlocking Net Zero (FIBE3 CDT). The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative research environment, working with industry partners to address the challenges of net zero carbon emissions in the built environment.

The FIBE3 CDT is a four-year programme that offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects, focusing on four key themes:

  • Current and Disruptive Technologies: Exploring the potential of emerging technologies to transform the built environment.
  • Circularity and Whole Life Approach: Developing sustainable solutions that minimize waste and maximize resource efficiency.
  • AI-Driven Digitalisation and Data: Harnessing the power of artificial intelligence and data analytics to drive innovation in the built environment.
  • Risk-Based Systems Thinking and Connectivity: Developing robust and resilient systems that prioritize safety and connectivity.
