Job Opportunity

Fugro-Geoteam AS is seeking a skilled Survey Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Survey Workshop, you will play a vital role in preparing, testing, and maintaining positioning equipment, surface and subsea survey equipment, IT equipment, and data acquisition systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake testing, maintenance, and repair of various equipment and associated software
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment testing, maintenance, and repair, ensuring technical and equipment registers are up-to-date
  • Assist with the mobilization of equipment on-site and ensure adequate stock levels of spares are maintained
  • Provide support to offshore personnel, operations, project managers, and other Fugro entities
  • Continuously seek new working methods, technology, and cost reductions to improve performance

Requirements

  • HNC/HND in Electronics/Computer Science
  • Extensive experience in electronics fault finding
  • Good knowledge of general PC and network configuration and software
  • Prior experience in a marine survey environment
  • Valid, full UK driving license
  • Based within commuting distance of the Aberdeen office
