Clinical Endocrinology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Endocrinology Specialist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with endocrine disorders and will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care to patients with endocrine disorders, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disease, and adrenal disorders.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and surgical interventions.
- Conduct research and participate in clinical trials to advance the field of endocrinology and improve patient outcomes.
- Teach and mentor junior medical staff, including residents and fellows, to ensure the next generation of endocrinologists is well-equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction, and to improve the overall quality of care provided by our team.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine.
- Sub-specialist training in pituitary, adrenal, and thyroid medicine.
- Experience in day-to-day organization of endocrinology and general internal medicine services in a busy teaching hospital.
- Familiarity with information technology and general computer skills.
- Able to demonstrate leadership capability within multidisciplinary teams.
