Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join our team at Meridian Business Support Limited. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our accounting functions and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to our accounting team, including data entry, record-keeping, and filing.
  • Assist with financial transactions, such as invoicing and reconciliations.
  • Help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in accounts or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £24,000 - £28,000 PA (pro rata if part time).
  • A 36.5 hour working week with flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working.
