Supporting Children with Special Educational Needs

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Psychology graduate to join our support staff team at a fantastic primary school in the Harrow area. This graduate role is set to start in the academic year, with the potential for the right candidate to transition into a permanent contract with the school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized support to children with special educational needs, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to create tailored learning plans.
  • Implement interventions to address behavioural challenges and enhance learning outcomes.
  • Conduct assessments to monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Deliver one-on-one and small group sessions to develop essential skills.
Requirements:
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field.
  • Prior experience in special education or a similar setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
