Job Summary:

We are seeking a Consents Planning Specialist to join our Environmental Planning team. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of environmental plans for our clients, ensuring optimal outcomes and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities include leading on the coordination and delivery of planning/environmental work being undertaken by multi-disciplinary teams, strong business development, and raising awareness of our services.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Contractors and influencing sustainability through design, as well as expertise in reviewing the work of others to ensure quality.

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.

You will be working on a diverse range of projects including large-scale energy and infrastructure, rail, highways, water and mixed-use development schemes, public realm and masterplanning projects, and small-scale projects that require a nimble and agile approach.

  1. Coordinating and delivering planning/environmental work being undertaken by multi-disciplinary teams.
  2. Assisting in the development and implementation of environmental plans.
  3. Maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Essential Skills:

Excellent working knowledge of the environmental and consenting process, from EIA practices and procedures, including case law, and a solid understanding of environmental and sustainability principles and environmental technical specialisms.

Commercial expertise, including forecasting, project management, and quality assurance.

A flexible, pragmatic, and collaborative approach to work.
