Housekeeping Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Director to join our team at Barchester care homes. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our care homes maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional cleaning services
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor and maintain the condition of all care home facilities, including bedrooms, communal areas, and outdoor spaces
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care services
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
About You
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home or hospitality environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards
- Ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver exceptional results
