Financial Controller Opportunity

We are assisting our prestigious client, AM2PM Recruitment Solutions Ltd, in finding a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their team in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the financial operations and future success of the business.
  • Run the monthly payroll and make PAYE payments.
  • Manage invoice discounting and financing.
  • Update monthly sales targets against company plans and work closely with directors.
  • Manage all aspects of financial reporting in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable team.
  • Look into and resolve stock discrepancies, review stock take data, and liaise with the warehouse manager to resolve issues.
  • Prepare variance analyses and put forward plans to promote financial growth.
  • Prepare cash flow reports and forecasts, budgets, and quarterly/monthly management accounts.
  • Participate in monthly meetings to discuss financials and strategy for company growth while submitting suggestions for improvement.
  • Devise and implement costing processes.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in accounting.
  • Proficient in the use of Sage.
  • Previous experience as a financial controller.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar – CPA or CMA certification is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
