We are seeking a skilled Security Consultant specializing in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Data Lifecycle Management (DLM) within Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Purview environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement DLP and DLM strategies for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Purview, including data classification, retention, and risk mitigation policies.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of current data security controls, identifying gaps and recommending enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to customize DLP rules, data sensitivity labels, and access policies aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and training on M365 DLP and DLM best practices for secure data handling and lifecycle management.
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents, working to continuously improve data protection mechanisms.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with Microsoft 365 DLP and Microsoft Purview configuration and management.
  • Strong understanding of data security standards and compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Expertise in implementing and managing DLM policies and data retention schedules.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
