Job Summary:

Matchtech is seeking a highly skilled Configuration Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing configuration data and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of product information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement configuration management plans to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Identify and manage configuration items, including generation and review of configuration plans.
  • Lead Change Control Boards and provide configuration status input to ensure accurate decision-making.
  • Manage configuration status accounting, with a focus on generating configuration baselines.
  • Collaborate with engineering delivery teams to maintain and configure project datasets.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of configuration management principles and practices.
  • Excellent practical knowledge of the five key elements of configuration management: planning, identification, change management, status accounting, and audit/verification.
  • Experience with software configuration management at the point of release into the product structure.
  • Proven track record of providing configuration and design management input to design reviews and certification.
  • Configuration management experience in the development of safety-critical products.
  • Proficiency in product management tools, including Teamcenter version 13 (Unified) and SAP.
