Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team at Accountable Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to take ownership of financial planning and analysis for a forward-thinking organization based in Warrington.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and oversee the company's budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Financial Modelling: Create and maintain complex financial models, utilizing advanced Excel techniques and financial planning tools.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with department heads to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements, providing recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to existing FP&A processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in a senior FP&A role, ideally within a fast-paced or complex business environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present findings to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial planning tools or ERP systems.
