Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A Role

Company Overview

We are working with a market-leading SME based in Warrington to recruit a Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial planning and analysis and be able to produce high-quality financial reports.


Salary/Benefits

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - 65,000 per annum
Pension Contribution: 5% of salary
Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays

Job Description

This role involves preparing budgets and forecasts, developing financial models, and business partnering with key leaders. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial FP&A, be ACA or ACCA qualified, and possess strong analytical skills.

The responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts with supporting analysis.
  • Development of robust and consistent financial modelling.
  • Business partnering with key leaders to drive performance.
  • Monthly & weekly reporting and analysis to monitor business performance and track key initiatives.
  • Prepare regular business update and board reports for senior management.
  • Support the Finance Director with ad hoc assignments.
  • Drive continuous process improvements.
  • Assist in systems and data migrations.
  • Management of master financial data.
  • Support bid and tender processes by providing robust financial data.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a commercial FP&A role.
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or suitably qualified by experience.
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
