  • Role Summary:

The Clinical Lead will be expected to demonstrate excellent clinical skills in working with adults with secondary mental health care needs. This role requires strong commitment to high-quality client care, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize workload effectively.

Person Specification:

  • Education and Qualifications:
    • Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (minimum 2 years post-qualification experience)
    • Relevant clinical training and postgraduate qualifications
    • Evidence of experience in therapeutic interventions relevant to the specialty (e.g., nurse prescribing, CBT, DBT, PSI, EFT, NLP, and family interventions)
  • Knowledge and Experience:
    • Knowledge and experience of working within community teams
    • Experience of multidisciplinary team (MDT) and multi-agency working
    • Experience in delivering clinical supervision
    • Experience in supporting case load management
    • Facilitation of personal development planning in others
    • Knowledge and experience of community transformation
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Organizational and time management skills
    • Prioritization of complex workload
