Corporate Tax Associate Director

Thomson Recruitment Independent Partnerships (TRIP) Ltd is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Associate Director to join their team in Birmingham. As a key member of the Tax Team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality tax advisory services to clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in corporate tax advisory services, including R&D Tax relief, Patent Box Tax, and transaction and restructuring concerns. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, delivering on annual corporation tax reporting requirements, and negotiating fees with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand clients' issues and anticipate their needs while helping them manage risk.
  • Advise clients on R&D Tax relief, Patent Box Tax, and transaction and restructuring concerns.
  • Negotiate and raise fees with clients and manage WIP on your portfolio of clients.
  • Be an active member of the Tax Team and develop the wider Tax Team, ensuring national procedures are rolled out and fully adopted in Birmingham.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in corporate tax advisory services.
  • ACA and CTA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Broad and strong technical tax knowledge and experience in R&D Tax relief, Transaction Tax, Patent Box, or Restructuring.
  • Broad experience in managing financials on clients, delivering on budgets, and negotiating fees with clients.
