Job Summary

Thomson Recruitment Independent Partnerships (TRIP) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Associate Director to join their team. As a key member of the Tax Team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional tax advisory services to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their tax needs and providing expert advice to mitigate risk and optimize tax efficiency.
  • Lead a portfolio of clients, advising on a range of tax matters including R&D Tax relief, Patent Box Tax, and transaction and restructuring concerns.
  • Negotiate and manage client fees, ensuring effective WIP management and maintaining a strong financial acumen.
  • Contribute to the development of the Tax Team, ensuring national procedures are implemented and adopted in the Birmingham office.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in corporate tax advisory, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality services to clients.
  • ACA and CTA qualification (or equivalent) and a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations.
  • Strong technical tax knowledge, with expertise in R&D Tax relief, Transaction Tax, Patent Box, or Restructuring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
